Sree Narayana Public School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The whole year is divided into two terms as semester I from June to October and the semester II from November to March. As per the guidelines of Central Board of Secondary Education a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is being followed, by which students scholastic and non-scholastic areas are subjected for testing through Formative and Summative assessments.

Formative assessment is a continuous monitoring of student's progress in fearless and supportive environment. It evaluates the student's ability to observe, converse confidently, complete projects with research and comprehension, writing essays, participate in elocution, question the accepted concepts and test the relevance of concepts using lateral thinking skills, projects, quizzes, tasks, elocution, debate and other individual and group activities are given to assess the co-scholastic areas. This will be used effectively as it would improve tremendously, raising the self-esteem of the child.

To include regularity, seriousness and systematic study habits, continuous and comprehensive evaluation records are being maintained by the teachers as a yardstick to measure the performance of the students at every stage for the purpose of their continuous improvement.
