Sree Narayana Public School established in 2007, is one of the educational institution which was started by Kadakkal Sree Narayana Trust Kadakkal. Sree Narayana Trust Kadakkal has been organised by a group of ardent believers of the great social reformer Sree Narayana Guru. Hundreds of families in and around Kadakkal, situated in a rural area in the east of Kollam and 50 kms away from the capital city of Kerala took the decision to institute an institution in the name of the Guru. The Trust came into existence about 4  years ago in  July 2005, at Kadakkal.
